New iPad will feature 4G LTE connectivity
Mar 7th 2012, 18:45

Apple has just confirmed live from today's iPad event that the new iPad will indeed have support for LTE. iMore recently reported LTE capabilities as confirmed by one of our sources. LTE will support the following carriers in North America – Rogers, Telus, Bell, AT&T, Verizon.

We have not confirmed whether or not international LTE will be supported. It appears as if LTE may be North America only unless Apple says otherwise. What we do know is that you'll be good for up to 9 hours of surf time on 4G, which is pretty amazing in itself.

We'll update as we know more.
