Muscle Nerd from the iPhone Dev Team sent out an interesting tweet this morning in regards to the iPhone 4S unlock. Crazy Thanksgiving weekend! Very promising 4S unlock (http://twitpic.com/7kku4t) is in the works (Not i4, just 4S..that's crazy part) He mentions progress is coming along for the iPhone 4S only via ultrasn0w. Only iPhone 4 users with the baseband 01.59.00 can unlock their phones at this moment. As for iPhone 3G and 3GS users, only the following basebands can be unlocked: 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00. It seems every time there's a long weekend or holiday the iPhone Dev Team discovers a new exploit somehow.
