Last week, Apple pushed out an updated build, 9B208, of iOS 5.1.1 for the GSM iPhone 4. The new iOS 5.1.1 build could not be jailbroken with existing tools, so a new version of Absinthe, 2.0.2, was released.
Continuing the support for other iOS devices and builds, today Absinthe has been update to version 2.0.4 (yes 2.0.3 was skipped).
This update enables users of the iPad 2,4 to jailbreak their device. The "iPad 2,4″ is the $419 iPad 2 that comes with a slightly updated A5 chip.
Overall, version 2.0.4 can now be used to jailbreak any iPad, iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 5.1.1.
