Camera Plus Pro, one of our favorite camera apps for iPhone, has been updated to v4 with a new camera engine that's 30x faster, according to developer Global Delight. The update brings with it live photo and video filters, a UI makeover and the resurrection of the jerk-free Smooth Zoom Feature.
Of in our review of Camera Plus Pro v3.1, we stated, "Many of the photo/video apps available are easier to use than Camera Plus Pro, but I can't think of any that give you this many features and this much control. At only $1.99, you're getting enough to keep things fresh for a long time to come. And if you take the time to learn the nuances of the app, you're going to achieve some very impressive results with just a few taps." We'll see if the UI makeover helps with the ease of use, but it looks like the new/enhanced features will again compensate for any remaining learning curve.
