Extra games added for beating average donation

The group responsible for the Humble Bundle series of charity software collections has launched a new effort, this time known as the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle. Frozen Synapse is a turn-based strategy game from Mode 7 in which players fight top-down gun battles. The twist is that each side runs its turns simultaneously, forcing players to take a best guess at where their opponents will be.

Proceeds from the Bundle are being split several ways, including the developer and two charities, Child's Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Buyers can pick a default split or else customize how much money goes to each recipient. Suggested donations range from $20 to $100, but buyers can also choose to pay a custom amount.

People who spend more than the average amount are entitled to download the Humble Frozenbyte Bundle, which includes Trine, Shadowgrounds and Shadowgrounds: Survivor, plus two unfinished titles, Splot and Jack Claw. Splot is still under development and yet to be released, while Jack Claw is an abandoned prototype. All of the games in the bundles support Linux, Windows and OS X.
